M-PESA Imeitika Campaign

The idea was to create the awareness that Vodacom M-Pesa customers are able to transact more for less with reduced levies, to reiterate the ease that comes with using M-Pesa. M- Pesa Imeitika gives us the ground to show just how much our customers can do by having use cases portrayed & rewards.
The Strategy

Grab the TA’s attention by sharing how M-PESA has made transactions simpler and
more, use emotional stories to illustrate different M-Pesa uses and excite them with a
chance to win prizes. Blend information, emotion, and rewards for an engaging M-Pesa
experience within the campaign’s scope.

What were the challenges that you had to overcome to ensure success?

Faced with tight setup timelines, our team proactively addressed the challenge by
implementing a pre-event checklist, optimizing logistics, and extending team hours.
This strategic approach ensured an efficient and timely setup, overcoming the time
constraints for a seamless execution of the M-Pesa Imeitika campaign.

The Concept

Unveiling the M-Pesa Imeitika campaign involved a dynamic strategy. Keynotes led to
cheerleaders and dancers forming the campaign message. Gratitude speeches, a campaign
jingle, and Vodacom staff displaying messages further amplified the event. The event peak
with a burst of pyros and confetti left a powerful and lasting impression
